It's loads of fun, and has tons of content. Otherwise, you should definitely crack into CC. But anything that appeared in the first game will appear in CC. So if you're used to both of those quirks, but still want to play the new one, keep the first, there's no harm. That tripped me up the hardest when I played the demo. Another thing I've noticed is that with hold triggers, on FMS primarily when I notice, is that the trigger symbol follows the track now, instead of being still, and only a light that follows it. There does seem to be a difficulty drop, I think, as the box for criticals is much more forgiving.
